"Soldier"
Vacuform mold of a life-size soldier carved for Music and Art's 2006 touring production of Still Life with Commentator. This is ultra-dense foam that was carved on only one side so that heated sheets of clear plastic could be molded to it and then removed after cooling (Vacuforming). This was done 50 times; thereby creating 50 separate soldier sculptures that were backlit and hung and made to look like floating apparitions.
